Amresh Kumar Pandey

Mr. Amresh Kumar Pandey is a results-driven professional with over 11 years of experience in managing and operating projects within the development sector. His expertise spans community and financial management, strategic planning, demand forecasting, customer service, contract management, and account administration. He has a strong track record of leading teams, fostering business partnerships, and driving organizational growth through innovative strategies. He is deeply committed to empowering local communities, especially women, by promoting plantation and other allied livelihoods.

Previously, as Senior Program Manager at Grameen Foundation India, he played a pivotal role in liaising with government departments and local leaders for project implementation. He managed a network of over 2,000 women providing digital financial services, farming advisory, and agricultural inputs. His leadership extended across multiple states, guiding teams to connect FPOs with major agribusinesses.

He has recently served as Senior Program Manager at Sustainable Green Initiative Pvt. Ltd. Where he led Amresh a team of over 100 members working towards planting 6.5 million trees in Uttar Pradesh through an agroforestry model. He is overall responsible for the implementation of the project at the ground level, managing stakeholders, infrastructure installation, and ensuring survivability. His role involved enhancing agricultural productivity, strengthening partnerships with Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), and overseeing carbon credit projects. 

Amresh also held the position of CEO at Samhut Jeevika Mahila Agri Producer Company Ltd., where he developed business plans, trained women in agricultural aggregation, and facilitated market linkages to improve rural women's economic sustainability. His prior roles at MicroSave Consulting, TechnoServe India, and various rural livelihood missions reflect his deep commitment to rural development, financial inclusion, and capacity-building initiatives.

With extensive experience in collaborating with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and donor organizations, Amresh brings a unique blend of strategic vision and on-the-ground implementation skills. His work in designing financial and operational models for carbon credit projects and plantations, and his contribution to the promotion of women-led enterprises, further demonstrate his impact in the development sector.
